“Alice in the Wonderbox”

Alice is a young person in construction : her image, her relationship to others, her body, everything is changing and she is looking for new benchmarks in her life. Alice is also an internet freak (like many of her friends), where she thinks she can find shelter from reality. But this Wonderbox where she spends days after days is even more flickering and unstable than her own reality: Avatars, false identities, fakenews, prince charming or super challenges that turn into deadly traps, bullying, perpetual and violent comments… An initiatory journey in which the violence and anguish of human relationships are revealed, identity wavers, loneliness intensifies and the real and virtual intermingle. The eternal existential questions are confronted with the pressing matters of augmented reality, transhumanism and artificial intelligence. Which youth for which new humanity?
