Zdenka Lacina Pitlik is an associate professor at the Academy of Arts and Culture in Osijek and a acknowledged Croatian costume designer. She graduated from the Faculty of Textile Technology in Zagreb, majoring in textile and clothing design, as a senior fashion designer in 2004.
In 2013, she obtained her master's degree, also at the University of Zagreb, at the Faculty of Textile Technology, University Graduate Studies and obtained the title of Master of Profession, Textile and Fashion Design Engineer, Major: Costume Design. Then in 2015, Josip Juraj Štrosmajer University in Osijek. Faculty of Educational Sciences. Department for Lifelong Education. In 2021, she enrolled at Josip Juraj Štrosmajer University in Osijek, Doctoral School, postgraduate interdisciplinary studies Culture and Art. She gained work experience in construction, modeling and design by working in the HNK workshop in Zagreb under the leadership of Jelica Ozimec, where she participated in the creation of numerous opera, drama and ballet productions. As a designer, constructor and modeler, she also worked in the fashion industry: Varteks Pro d.o.o. Varaždin, Sloga IMK d.o.o. Požega, Smoda d.o.o. Požega, worked as a stylist and make-up artist, organized numerous group and independent fashion shows, exhibitions and wrote her own fashion column. Since 2009, he has been collaborating with the Academy of Arts in Osijek through theater projects as a costume designer, and in 2013 he started working as an external associate, and today he holds the title of associate professor. prof. art. In the meantime, he cooperates with various theaters throughout Croatia and beyond, as well as on film, feature-documentary and serial sets as a costume designer and scenographer.
