Sergej Tamaš is a cultural manager and project expert with extensive experience in international cooperation and cultural development. He graduated from the Institute of International Relations at Taras Shevchenko National University in Kyiv, Ukraine.
He has served as assistant to both the Vice President of the Provincial Government and the Provincial Secretary for Economy and Tourism, where he focused on tourism and regional economic cooperation. Over the years, Tamaš has participated in numerous domestic and EU-funded projects, contributing significantly to interregional collaboration and cultural exchange.
Appointed as Director of the Institute for the Culture of Vojvodina Ruthenians, he led initiatives dedicated to preserving and promoting Ruthenian cultural heritage. His work has included a wide range of activities—from exhibitions, book promotions, and professional workshops to art colonies, academic conferences, and roundtable discussions—both in Serbia and across the Ruthenian diaspora in Slovakia, Poland, Ukraine, Croatia, Hungary, and Romania.
As of April 2025, he holds the position of Acting Director of the Youth Theatre in Novi Sad.
